MUCFA Melissa Relief Response at The Mico
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, MUCFA mobilized quickly to support students at The Mico University who were hardest hit by the storm. Hurricane Melissa Relief in Action
MUCFA board member Vittel Smart partnered with a local Florida group in the Hurricane Melissa relief effort, helping to organize and distribute care packages filled with food staples, hygiene essentials, and cleaning supplies bound for Jamaica. The images tell the story clearly: rows of red relief bags packed late into the night, pallets wrapped and ready for delivery, and carefully assembled bundles of beans, rice, pasta, crackers, toothpaste, bleach, and other necessities.
