MUCFA board member Vittel Smart partnered with a local Florida group in the Hurricane Melissa relief effort, helping to organize and distribute care packages filled with food staples, hygiene essentials, and cleaning supplies bound for Jamaica. The images tell the story clearly: rows of red relief bags packed late into the night, pallets wrapped and ready for delivery, and carefully assembled bundles of beans, rice, pasta, crackers, toothpaste, bleach, and other necessities. His work reflects the practical side of service that MUCFA values - support that meets people exactly where they are, in the moment they need it. Through his leadership and the generosity of donors, Jamaicans affected by the hurricane received the support they needed during this difficult recovery period.
